Examples include solar, wind and hydro energy projects. In addition, the fund has the expertise and ability to invest in energy storage through megabatteries, smart microgrids and energy efficiency projects. The fund aims to reach a size of \u20ac1 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Underlying the fund will be 10 to 15 large-scale renewable energy projects that will be largely funded with capital from the SUSI Energy Transition Fund. These projects use long-term energy supply contracts directly with large customers.
